December 2010. We'd like to extend a very special thank you to Andy Scarfe, his family and all at the Red Hill Social Club in Castleford.

Andy's been a keen darts player since the age of 10, when his father, a former Army boxer and champion darts player, introduced him to the game. He's been a great help to The Forgotten Heroes for some time, and has been collecting on his book stall at markets around West Yorkshire.

Andy decided to turn to darts when he wanted to hold his own event to raise funds towards our target. He, along with his two sons, nephew and two friends carried out an 8-hour sponsored darts marathon and raffle at the Red Hill Social Club, where he is a regular player. We're very pleased to announced that this event raised in excess of £680, so a huge thanks to all involved—we appreciate your hard work and donations.
