December 2010. David Sessions, our Events Trustee, arranged a Christmas Shooting Event at the Stead Hall Farm shooting range in Burley-in-Wharfedale. The event was a great opportunity for people to try their hand at target shooting, many for the first time, and was held on Friday 17th December.

Dewsbury Road Social Club, Dewsbury Road, Beeston, Leeds Saturday 20th August. A table top sale was held at the Dewsbury Road Social Club on Saturday 20th August, in aid of the Forgotten Heroes. In addition to the usual stalls, the Forgotten Heroes trustees sold merchandise and the local neighbourhood policing team was in attendance, offering crime prevention advice and handing out crime prevention supplies in exchange for a donation to the charity.
A total of just over £175 was raised. The Forgotten Heroes would like to thank everyone who took part. |

 Leeds, Sunday 19 June 2011. A disabled Iraq veteran, an airborne TA soldier, and a team of 24 intrepid staff from Simplyhealth went 'gone the extra mile' for us (well, 6.2 miles, to be exact!). The team took part in the Jane Tomlinson Run For All 10K race on Sunday 19th July, raising over £3,200 in sponsorship between them.

May 2011. Singing sensation Darren Rivers took to the stage at the Dewsbury Road Social Club in Leeds on 21st May in aid of The Forgotten Heroes. Darren is one of the top Elvis tribute performers in the UK. There was also a raffle in aid of The Forgotten Heroes and bingo. |
