The Forgotten Heroes is campaigning against the Government’s plan to ‘reform’ Disability Living Allowance, in a move that the trustee of the charity believe could see veterans forced to pay for their own wheelchairs and walking sticks.

The Forgotten Heroes has produced a report which has been submitted to the Department for Work and Pensions demonstrating how this move could impact on the most severely disabled veterans, and we are in the process of writing to many MPs. Charley is heading up this campaign, and has been invited by the Department for Works and Pensions to take part in their consultation exercise over the coming months.
