Obituary: Victor Penrose
Sunday, 01 August 2010 00:00

August 2010. It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Victor Penrose at St James' Hospital, Leeds, at the age of 91.

Victor was born in Leeds on 3rd December 1919, and served in the Royal Corps of Signals as a driver. He was captured in 1941 and spent time in a PoW camp. Victor was a loyal husband to the late Marion, and is survived by his children June and Alan.

Victor was one of the first veterans The Forgotten Heroes was able to assist, and we will always remember him as a loyal, brave and gallant gentleman. RIP.
