Forgotten Heroes Campaigning

We are involved in campaigning on behalf of disabled veterans, their families and carers; as well as raising awareness of issues facing disabled veterans and their families and carers.

The most pressing issue that we are currently involved with is campaigning against some of the changes our Government is proposing concerning Disability Living Allowance.

If these changes are allowed to proceed, this could mean a significant reduction in quality of life for some of our disabled service veterans and, by extension, their families.

The government has released a consultation document, which contains some details on the proposed changes and requests feedback on the proposals. You can download a copy of the consultation document, which also provides information on how to take part in the consultation at the Department for Work and Pensions website.

We have issued a formal response to this consultation as a charity, which takes the form of a report. If you would like to read a copy of our response, then it is available to download here.
